MY APPROACH

The Core

What is the Core?

The Core is in-built for all of us. It is us just being us and at home with who we are. Being present, in our essence and in flow. Being our unique self and true gifts. At our core we are at our best; always well, at peace and whole. It is our true nature.

When we align with the Core we are in alignment with our innate Wellbeing and we experience a natural Wisdom. Our insightful wisdom knows intuitively what is right for us and what isn’t. Wisdom is like an inner GPS, inner guru, higher self, internal guide - it has the qualities of simplicity, clarity and ease - a just ‘knowing in our bones’.

We naturally become in alignment with the Core when we discover, understand and have awareness of our essential true nature and what can get in the way.

When we align with our Core— we blossom. We experience inner attributes or feelings of goodwill, ease, inspiration and insight that naturally lead to helpful behaviours and therefore good outcomes in our outer game.

When we align with the Core we know how to be confident, clear, connect and create - even during uncertainty and constant change. When we align with the core, we discover the source of true success and we let our own wisdom lead.

What does it mean to lead from the Core?

You as a leader being in flow with your own innate wisdom and wellbeing; fully being you, understanding yourself and others. It means feeling on track more often and knowing what to do when you are off track. It means you get really great results, waste less time overthinking or taking anything personally and can back yourself bravely when you need to.

It means that you understand the human factor and can lead others with humanity and heart.

The source of any desired cultural attributes will flow naturally when individuals, teams and organisations are in alignment with their Core. Often this shows up organisationally as the lived expression of Purpose, Vision and Values.  Leaders can learn to create a space for others to tune in to whatever genius is wanting to come through them. Leaders and changemakers can learn to facilitate others to let their wisdom lead.

What gets in the way of people aligning with the Core?

When people are stressed.

You might be seeing:

  • Over-working and being too busy to see the wood for the trees

  • Overwhelm or stuck-ness

  • Tension and conflict

  • The negative impacts of stress; a tendency to fight, flight or freeze

  • Habitually feeling anxiety or fear

  • Lack of trust in their own intuition and ideas

It might seem the solution is to…

Create lots of wellbeing and resilience tools, techniques and activities. Offer a Counselling service. Conduct trainings in mental health first aid...

You don’t need to do that.

What works even better is to… cultivate the Core.

Educate people to insightfully understand how the Core works and is alive in them. They then get a reassuring taste of their own innate wellbeing and can let their wisdom lead to practically solve any challenge they might have. This results in a lot less unnecessary activity and a lot more effortless flow.

Working with me on the Core people naturally experience clarity, confidence, connection and creativity. They also…

  • Bounce back quickly from set-backs

  • Let go of unhelpful thoughts and feelings to have more optimism and ease

  • Find their voice

  • Access their optimum state of mind

  • Experience wellbeing
